To accept your friend request you should have at least 20-videos, though unlikely I will still even reserve the right to refuse if you have a little bit over that and they are horrible as well as all uploaded 3 years ago with nothing since. I have no problems if you want to tear up the people that charge money for friend, but get over it if you think it's people that expect contributions to the community are the problem 
Private and upload requirements are not about gate-keeping, or hoarding, or whatever excuse you need to feel better. It's about sharing with those that are also here to share, those that have also put in the many hours dealing with the sub-optimal upload mechanisms this site gives us. All it takes is a little contribution and regular activity and the hoards unlock, it's expecting no more effort, that requirement is tiny in-fact compared to the effort which I have spent and you just expect me to handover to you.
